On Friday, SBT’s founder and practice manager Sarah Buckley was elected unopposed as chair of the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP) at its annual general meeting.
Also speaking at the AGM was former SBT therapist, Kathryn Moyse:
Sarah has been vice-chair of ASLTIP since February 2020, during which time she, current chair Ruth Crampton and the rest of the board have led the organisation through the Covid pandemic, as well as worked to develop closer ties with RCLST.
Sarah formally becomes chair on 1st April 2023 and her term of office will last for four years, during which time she will continue as practice manager of SBT. SBT would like to congratulate her on her election and wish her every success in her new role!
